Wear Red Day 2026 - 16 October

 

Wear Red Day is coming up on Friday 16 October, organised by Show Racism the Red Card. With an uptick in far-right and anti-immigration activity across the South East, it’s more important than ever that we show that our union stands together against racism and division. We’re asking branches to get involved by wearing red and taking a simple group photo of members. If possible, use some of the downloadable Wear Red Day resources in your photo. We’ll bring photos from across the South East together into a regional collage to share on our social channels on Wear Red Day. There’s no need to do anything elaborate. A simple group photo of your members wearing red is great. You can find the Wear Red Day resources on the Show Racism the Red Card website. Please send your photos to l.walter@unison.co.uk by Tuesday 13 Octoberso we have time to put the regional collage together.
