Health & Safety Spot Light.

Strain on employees at work is seen to be a major cause of mental health issues— a government-commissioned report shows that mental health is costing the UK economy almost £100 billion a year and figures show that around 300,000 people leave jobs due to mental health issues.

If work place stress is causing an issue you can approach your Unison representatives/Health & Safety representative in confidence to see if the issue can be dealt with through a discussion with the employer or to offer support.

  2. Mental health is the most important thing if you want to work with full efficiency. It's alarming if 300,000 people are leaving jobs just because of bad mental health.

    I think the Government should take some necessary steps towards guiding people about how to take special care of their mental health.

    In my opinion, the diet has a crucial role in making a person mentally and physically healthy.

    But, if you look around, people are not serious about their diet. They eat unhealthy food like pizza, donuts, and potato chips, which lead them towards bad physical and mental health.

    You know, if you are not physically fit, then you would remain disturbed mentally too.

    A lot of diseases start because of eating unhealthy food, therefore its crucial to eat good organic food.

    A couple of days ago, I was reading about an organic plant Moringa. This plant is also known as a miracle tree. Its leaves powder can be used for various health benefits.

    If you are using organic moringa powder on a daily basis, it will make your immune system strong and improve your overall health.

    Further, its also good to lower the cholesterol level, and you can also use it to control the blood sugar level.

    So if you are using moringa powder regularly, it is incredibly beneficial for your mental and physical health.

    It can be used in tea, or you can simply sprinkle it on smoothies, yogurt or salad. The taste is absolutely good, and people are using it as an alternative to medicines in many countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia.

    So it's valuable for all of us to eat and promote organic food on a regular basis.
